Dr. Coffman is a native of Arizona with over 23 years of experience. She worked in a large ophthalmology clinic and refractive surgery center before opening her own private practice. After 10 years in Florida she relocated back to Arizona, and since then her practice has grown to several locations across the North Valley. In her free time she enjoys relaxing with family and her three fur kids, reading and traveling.

Dr. Froehlich is originally from Minnetonka, Minnesota. Her training includes managing advanced ocular disease, contact lenses, pediatrics and low vision. In her free time she likes to be active outdoors, travel and try new restaurants.

Dr. Portnoy is originally from Littleton, Colorado. She worked in a pediatric clinic, a refractive surgery center and several optometry clinics in Colorado before moving to Phoenix. In her free time she loves to travel, read, hike with her family and play with her miniature dachshund.

Dr. Tang was born in Illinois but has spent the majority of her life in Arizona. Before earning her doctorate she worked in optics as both an ophthalmic technician and an optician. Dr. Tang is passionate about family, health and the outdoors.

Dr. Chau was born and raised in sunny California and always knew she wanted to be in healthcare. In 4th grade she received her first pair of glasses and it completely changed her life — she realized she wanted to help others see the way her doctor helped her. After six years of East Coast winters she moved back to the sun and settled in Scottsdale, where she enjoys relaxing and hiking with her hubby and three dogs.

Dr. Trigg grew up in South Dakota and earned his Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. He brings many years of experience to our team — including owning his own independent practice inside Target and working at a LASIK surgical center, which gives him a deep understanding of refractive surgery and co-management. In his free time he stays busy as both a dance dad and a hockey dad.
